Rebecca Long Bailey visits New Wine Nation

On 31 October 2025, Rebecca Long Bailey MP visited New Wine Nation in Salford to meet the team and learn more about its work with young people.

In her subsequent newsletter, she described New Wine Nation's work as helping young people develop confidence, gain skills and access practical opportunities.

The visit reflects a wider part of New Wine Nation's role: bringing community experience, delivery organisations and civic decision-makers into the same conversation. The next task is to show, with care and evidence, how those relationships translate into pathways toward education, employment and leadership.
